“It is so much easier to be nice, to be respectful, to put yourself in your customers’ shoes and try to understand how you might help them before they ask for help, than it is to try to mend a broken customer relationship.”
— Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks
If you encounter a negative customer, instead of getting mad, try filling them with kindness. Look at the problem from THEIR perspective and let them know you’re there to help. Make it a goal to find the clues that will “turn that frown upside down” then, when you succeed, notice how good it feels. It’s a win-win!
Look for the clues to avoid the blues!
