As we kick off the holiday season, let us give thanks for the things and people in our lives that help us get through each day. Whether or not we are fortunate to spend the holidays with family and friends, let us look forward to the day that we’ll soon be able to spend together—without fear or anxiety or worry. If we are not fortunate to celebrate face-to-face with the people we love, then let us remember them and the many wonderful memories they cultivate. Let us also remember the bad times that 2020 has presented and be grateful that they give us the opportunity to grow and be genuinely grateful for pulling through while we keep in mind the multitude of people who face dark and difficult times right now. May we continue toward the conclusion of 2020 and beyond with an “attitude of service” toward one another—no matter what. Let us give more than we receive this holiday season. And let’s be thankful every step of the way.
And let us all give THANKS to the nurses, doctors, essential workers and charities that have stepped up—now and always—to fight the good fight!
